What if I need help with my course work?It's easy to get help. You will have a close working relationship with your Professor at all times. When you are accepted into a program, you will be assigned your own
Academic Advisor. You will be able to discuss your program progress and any questions you may have with that advisor. No other school provides you with this level of personal service.
Additionally, all students have access to an online tutoring service called “Smarthinking” which is available 24 hours a day and 365 days per year.

Can I complete all of the required course work online?Yes. All of the
courses offered by Saint Leo University are available via the Internet. You will never have to step foot on campus unless you wish to march down the aisle with your graduating class!

Will I have to take exams?Your grade will be based on assignments evaluated by your professor. These assignments may be in the form of papers, case studies, business plans and examinations. The evaluation process will be conducted in the same media formats in which the course is presented. It will not be necessary to travel to a testing location or make arrangements for private proctoring of any examinations.

Will my actual degree reflect that it was earned through an online program?No. There is no distinction made between a degree earned online and one earned on campus. Your degree is awarded based on competency and successfully meeting
academic requirements, not upon geographic location or residency.

What kind of computer do I have to use?Our courses and programs are available via the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be accessed using a standard Web browser, an Apple or Pentium-class personal computer and an Internet Service Provider. Saint Leo University highly recommends all students have:
- An internet connection
- 56 kbps modem minimum (recommend broadband access such as DSL or cable modem)
- Virus protection software (updated regularly)
- A CD-ROM is required for publisher materials in some courses (12X CD-ROM is preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Is Military Tuition Assistance available?Yes. We are a member of the Servicemembers Opportunities Colleges (SOC), which serves active duty and reserve component members and their family members in all uniformed services. Their degrees are approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In addition, you may be eligible for Military Tuition Assistance (MTA). How do I get my required text books?For each course in which you enroll, you will receive via mail (immediately prior to the start of the course) the corresponding textbook(s), student guides and case studies for your course, as well as supplemental CDs, videotapes and audio cassettes if they are required for a particular course.

Can I pay for my courses with employer-assisted tuition?Yes. Employer-assisted tuition is accepted. Please discuss our programs with your Personnel or Human Resources Director, and then call your University Alliance Program Reresentative.

If I earn my degree online, may I attend the graduation ceremony on campus?Yes. Saint Leo University welcomes you to take part in your graduation ceremonies on campus once you have successfully completed your degree.
